Importance of a Correct Bite

March 2, 2016 by admin

Do you have teeth that are too crowded or over lapping? Do you suffer from frequent headaches? An improper bite could be the source of your pain. And, unfortunately, crooked teeth does more than just make for an unsightly smile. It can lead to broken, cracked or worn teeth.

But there is good news for those who suffer from the symptoms of a bad bite. Bite correction is obtainable through Tenn Yuk Orthodontics.

Testimonial: “I am a 67-year-old female with extensive restorative work. After many visits to my dentist, I just received a very beautiful, and expensive, bridge. Only a few days later, the bridge broke. My dentist accommodated me with an immediate appointment, and after another thorough examination, he told me that another bridge would have to be made. He was generous to only charge me lab fees, and although I appreciated the discounted gesture, it was still an additional expense and inconvenience. A few weeks later, the new bridge was inserted. The next day, I was eating seedless grapes and once again, the bridge broke. Now I’m furious, but before I notified the dentist once more, I called a family member, who is an Orthodontic Assistant. She said that it wasn’t the quality of the bridge, or the incompetence of the dentist. The reason why the bridge kept breaking was because of my bite. My bite is out of proper alignment and my teeth are crooked. This scenario would continue to happen a million more times. She suggested that I seek Orthodontic treatment. I set up an appointment with Dr Kevin Tenn Yuk, agreed to start Invisalign treatment, and after only a few visits, my bite was already correcting itself. No more biting my cheeks or tongue when eating, and no more cracked restorations.”
